What is NPI Validation?

NPI Validation verifies the status of the provided NPI as active, inactive or invalid - meaning the NPI is not found on the NPPES.

For the active NPIs, you will also be able to view any NPPES provided information of the NPI including the name associated with the NPI.

For inactive NPIs, it will display the date it became inactive.

Invalid NPIs will display an Invalid status (not found on NPPES) and the NPI provided.
